BEING A MENTOR
We are looking for experienced professionals (with a minimum of 3 years of work experience and/or a graduate degree) who are currently working in data and are willing to donate at least 10% of their time every month to our Data Mentorship Program. You can register to be a mentor here.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A MENTOR AT DATA MENTORSHIP PROGRAM?
At DMP, a mentor is considered as someone who is able to coach a mentee, train them, and provide resources to help the mentee reach their professional goals.
We will be providing training and resources for the first-time mentors. We also require you to keep a check on your mentee's progress and report back any wins or concerns.
WHY SHOULD YOU CONSIDER MENTORING?
1. Mentorship allows you to give back to the community by uplifting others.
2. Mentorship is a great way to improve your leadership skills, gain recognition, and positively influence others.
3. Mentoring provides a sense of fulfillment.

Value the mentee as a person;
Develop mutual trust and respect;
Maintain confidentiality;
Listen to both to what is being said and how it is being said;
Help the mentee solve their own problem.
